What do I do if I have a defective book?

My book was missing/pages or is defective. How do I get a refund?

I’m so sorry that you ended up with one of the defective copies! These binding errors happen occasionally, and there’s an easy fix. You should exchange the book where you bought it or at a local bookstore. (Many of them will exchange defective books even if you don't have a receipt. The publisher gives the bookstore a full credit for binding errors like this.)

If you bought it from Amazon you can try returning it to a local bookstore, or Amazon will send you a new book along with a box to return the old book in. See Amazon's section on defective items.
